The Grand Ole Opry is headed back to Carnegie Hall
Scotty McCreery is one many Grand Ole Opry stars headed to New York City Friday, March 20, 2026. The Grand Ole Opry is bringing the stars of Nashville back to the one of the most prestigious venues in the world for the fourth time in 100 years. Opry stars first played Carnegie Hall - a venue commonly known for Classical Music performances - in 1947, followed by shows in1961 and 2005. Now, in 2026, as part of the Opry's continuation of their 100 year celebration from 2025, steel guitars and fiddles will once again fill the historic walls of Carnegie Hall.
Scotty McCreery, Henry Cho, Rhonda Vincent and The War & Treaty are the first round of Opry stars announced for the monumental event, with more expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
