If you are traveling for Thanksgiving, you may be wondering how you can transport food to take or leftovers - especially on a plane. According to the TSA, a holiday food can travel through a checkpoint if it is solid. The TSA also advises passengers to place those food items into an easily accessible location of the carry-on where it is packed. All food items should be placed in a bin when going through checkpoint screening. Sources: Head Topics, TSA
