The accident north of the Village of Fort Ann had traffic stopped on Route 4 on Thursday.
Word is coming across the emergency scanners that there is an accident in Fort Ann involving multiple vehicles and several injuries at U.S. Route 4 and Flat Rock Road. The stretch of road is just minutes north of the Village of Fort Ann and has Whitehall and Vermont-bound traffic at a standstill while emergency services respond to the scene.

Motorists heading for Northern Washington County or towards Vermont may want to seek alternate routes in the interim while crews respond to the scene and during clean up.
