Remembering Keith Whitley with Jesse Keith Whitley
May 9 marks the anniversary of the death of Keith Whitley. In 1988 and 1989, Keith Whitley was on top of The Country Music World with Number One Hits like 'Don't Close Your Eyes' 'When You Say Nothing At All' and 'I'm No Stranger To The Rain'. Sadly, May 9, 1989, at just 34, Whitley passed of alcohol poisoning. Eventually inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, we all know that there was much more music in the man we all missed out on hearing.
