This could have been way, way worse
Update 7/20 1:04pm: Troy Police tell NewsChannel 13 it was a 14 year old behind the wheel. The teen had allegedly stolen the car. He was handed over to the youth justice system.
A Security camera at a Troy restaurant caught a vehicle slamming into a restaurant patio, destroying the outdoor dining area. NewsChannel 13 says it happened around 8:30 Wednesday morning at the Twisted Fiddler on First Street. The vehicle, which police say was stolen, took out a number of tables and chairs before finally coming to a stop thanks to a concrete barrier.
No word on how much damage was caused, police say the driver was arrested.
