It's just about time for the 20th Annual Santa Speedo Sprint in Albany.

December 13th, Lark St. in Albany will be once again turned into the "race track" for one of the best events during the holiday season.

The 20th Annual Santa Speedo Sprint will start at 2pm, with registration getting underway at 11am at either Oh Bar or Lionheart.

The annual event is a fun way to help out two amazing causes right here in The Capital Region - The Albany Damien Center and the HIV/AIDS program at Albany Medical Center.

The race itself is only an 800 meter run. It really doesn't matter if you're a "runner" or not, this event is fantastic for everyone, regardless of their athletic ability. But are there awards for the race? Yes, there will be 2 awards handed out once the race concludes.

The Matthew Peter Sprint of the Sprint Award returns for its second year and recognizes the most festive team of runners.

And new for this year, the Nora Esposito Award, which honors the individual or team that raises the most money for the designated charities.
