In 2020, Siena was awarded the MAAC championship and the conference’s NCAA Tournament bid after the tournament was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Siena Athletics.
The Last Time Siena Won the MAAC Tournament
The last time Siena won the MAAC Tournament on the court was 2010, when the Saints defeated Fairfield 72–64 to capture their third consecutive conference title and advance to the NCAA Tournament, according to MAAC Sports.
A win tonight would give Siena its first MAAC Tournament championship decided on the court in 15 years and send the Saints back to March Madness.
