A Capital Region location made it on to Yelp's Top 100 Sushi Spots list.
If you've ever eaten at Akanomi in Guilderland then you are well aware of how amazing their sushi is!
Turns out, you're not wrong at all. Their sushi is so good in fact that they landed on the Yelp Top 100 Sushi Spots of 2024 that was just released. You're probably wondering where on the list they landed, right? I mean there are 100 spots that they could have placed at. Well, the answer to that question is 28. That's right, a Capital Region sushi spot is the 28th best sushi spot in the entire U.S. according to Yelp.
The criteria for the list included a number of different factors, including the number of Yelp reviews the restaurants received along with their ratings.
Akanomi has 215 reviews and is rated at 4.8 out of 5.
