Sergio's Pizza is stepping up to help the kids.
With the Government shutdown still going on and SNAP benefits about to run out for many in The Capital Region, there is one local pizza shop that is stepping up to help out.
Sergio's Pizza in Malta will be offering free personal size pizzas to children 18 and under every Monday and Thursday, providing that their family is eligible for SNAP benefits.
Tyler Dunleavy, the owner of Sergio's, is looking to simply "help our community".
The restaurant made the announcement on their Facebook page on 10/28 and as of right now, the post has over 4,000 shares.
