Police in Schenectady, N.Y., are seeking information about a female pit bull named Lavender who was found severely underweight and wounded near Eastern Parkway and McClellan Street. The dog, now under the care of the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, had injuries to her face and ears, with one ear appearing to have been intentionally cut off and fractured teeth. Authorities are asking for the public's help in investigating the case of animal cruelty.
