Hi, it's Scottie Blaine. You can hear me Saturdays on Big Country. I am a lifetime Capital Region resident. Born and raised in Burnt Hills. I've been a radio guy since 1999 starting my radio journey in Vermont. I've been a voice on the Cat since 2013. These days I live in Niskayuna with my beautiful wife Robin and our puppies Tessie and Ginger.

I am a huge sports fan. I love the New York Yankees. I was in attendance at Derek Jeter's last Yankee Stadium game when he won the game with a walkoff.  I am also a die hard fan if the Pittsburgh Steelers I'm such a fan, I have my fandom tattooed on my arm.

I'm also a huge pro wrestling fan! You can usually find me at the MVP Arena when the WWE or AEW comes to town. I've had the pleasure of meeting some big names in the wrestling world such as Ric Flair,  CM Punk, The Undertaker,  Sting, Trish Stratus and so many more

Most of all I love country music! I grew up with it on my house growing up with names like Johnny Cash,  The Oak Ridge Boys and Alabama. I really became a fan when Garth Brooks came out! These days I really enjoy Brantley Gilbert,  Blake Shelton,  Luke Combs and Lainey Wilson to name a few.

Other favorites:

TV Shows: Reacher, The Walking Dead franchise, Yellowstone and obviously any Pro Wrestling show.

Movies: Major League, Die Hard, The Star Wars franchise

Favorite Activity: I love to go out and sing karaoke. I love to sing. I was in a garage band in my teens.  I always wish I joined a band when I got older.

Favorite Radio Experiences: Its always great when I get a chance to meet a country star.  I also love when I get the chance to introduce acts on stage. The best for me was getting the crowd to do a big Ric Flair WOOOOOO at an Eric Church show years ago.
