This has been a wild weather summer
New York has seen a record breaking number of tornadoes this summer. Video below from NewsChannel 13's Amsterdam camera shows the funnel cloud forming in the skies minutes before a tornado touched down in Broadalbin on Wednesday.
Although weak, the National Weather Service confirmed an EF-0 did touch down at 4:41 pm. It lasted about a minute with 80mph winds. There was some damage, including limbs down and at least two trees uprooted.
