We have a couple smoky days to deal with.
You could probably smell it before you stepped outside Wednesday morning. Smoke from Canadian wildfires has once again blanketed the Albany area and much of New York State. In what is forecast to be a mostly sunny day, the smoke will obscure the the sun leaving an amber-ish haze in the area Wednesday into Thursday.
How will the wildfire smoke from Canada impact our air quality? This video shows how the Air Quality Index (AQI) is forecasted to worsen with the smoke plume. Instantaneous AQI could reach 200 in some locations tomorrow, 7/15. The higher the AQI, the greater the health concern. pic.twitter.com/OvBUKvjU74
