- Robert Redford was the star of the movie 'The Electric Horseman'. The 1979 film was also the major motion picture acting debut for Willie Nelson, and included his songs 'My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys' 'Mama's Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys' and 'Midnight Rider'.
- Robert Redford's film 'Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid' featured the blockbuster hit 'Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head'. The song was recorded by B.J.
