Country Music Memories - Randy Travis Releases First Hit Album
Kevin Richards' Country Music Memories - June 2025
This week, in 1986, Randy Travis released his debut studio album 'Storms of Life'. The project featured the hit singles 'On The Other Hand' '1982' 'Diggin' Up Bones' and 'There's No Place Like Home'. In 1982, Randy had previously released a 'Live' album, on his own, titled 'Randy Ray Live At The Nashville Palace'. The independent album helped him gain more attention around Nashville, and eventually a record deal with Warner Brothers Records. Now, in 2025 the Country Music Hall of Famer is working on a movie about his inspiring life story, with Clay Walker playing the role of the 'older' Randy Travis. If you're new to Country Music, it's worth a moment to download this groundbreaking album and discover why this man became a Country Music Superstar.
