Blake Shelton - The Early Years

Blake Shelton's First Hits

Blake Shelton is on his way to becoming a Legend in Country Music, and we all know induction in to the Hall of Fame is inevitable. The hitmaker recently revealed he's accepted the natural evolution of the music business, as he watches the up-and-comers get priority on the charts, but appreciates the time he had as an A-lister. Today, we look back at some of the singles that shaped his career in Country Music over the first 10 years- way before The Voice and Gwen Stefani.

As Blake enters the next chapter of his career, be on the look out for some more great projects and music.  I'm sure he'll follow in the footsteps of other artists that 'outlived' their chart success, and in some cases made better quality music later in life- like Reba, Kenny Rogers, Johnny Cash, George Jones, Oak Ridge Boys, Willie Nelson, Randy Travis and Alan Jackson.  If you take a moment to discover the later work of these artists, you may agree the music just got better after the 'radio years.'

Remember some of these early Blake Shelton singles from the first 10 Years (2001-2011)?
