Dolly Parton Movies To Benefit Imagination Library
Everyone has been honoring Dolly in their own way- a testament to her global popularity and overall goodness!
Labor Day weekend 2026, Regal Cinemas in the Capital Region of New York, including Crossgates Mall and Colonie Center, will show two Dolly movies to continue to support her charity. If you never got to see these classic films, or just never experienced them on the big screen, this is your chance. If you're in the mood for good Dolly music, check out 'The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas' with Burt Reynolds. This is the film that brought us the Dolly classics 'Hard Candy Christmas' and her re-recorded 'I Will Always Love You'. Although the original version in 1973 was a hit, the 'movie' version in 1982 is the recording that brought the song to a higher level. Regal Cinemas made the announcement below:
Join Regal in celebrating Dolly Parton's legacy and see her two classic films for just $9.25: The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas and Steel Magnolias. All proceeds will go to Dolly's childhood literacy foundation, The Imagination Library through the Regal Foundation. Click For Info.
