Water/sewer work will close a busy north/south Glens Falls road tomorrow
If you take Bay Street to travel through Glens Falls, or towards the college, you will need to seek an alternate route tomorrow.
The City of Glens Falls announces that Bay Street will be shut down at Webster Avenue on Wednesday, September 11th between 7:00am and 3:30pm.
Travellers will probably want to avoid the intersection of Webster Ave and Bay St tomorrow 9/11/24 from 7a to 330p. Detours will be in place. Stay safe. Obey all sign and signals and budget a little extra time if you have to go that way. pic.twitter.com/m86XXvYKUd

Detours will be posted, sending vehicular traffic onto Fort Amherst Road from the north, or Sanford Street from the south, towards Route 9 to travel around the work zone. The work is a part of a larger scale project that is taking place on Webster Avenue through the rest of this year into next year.
