Take your 'shot' this weekend
Our newest pro team for the Capital Region is holding tryouts this weekend. The New York Phoenix basketball team, based in Schenectady, is holding tryouts at the Armory Studios in downtown Schenectady on Saturday starting at 1pm.

Games will begin in February, with the Phoenix playing their first home game on February 28.
The Phoenix are part of TBL (The Basketball League), the same league as the Albany Patroons. Over 30 teams from around the country play in the TBL.
