It's a throwback to the early 2000's
This year’s Fourth of July event at Albany’s Empire State Plaza will take on a nostalgic twist, headlined by the Pop 2000 Tour. Hosted by Chris Kirkpatrick of *NSYNC, the tour also features performances by O-Town, LFO, and Ryan Cabrera—all popular names from the early 2000s pop scene.
The celebration runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, July 4. In addition to live music, families can enjoy activities, food vendors offering everything from Caribbean dishes to donuts, and a fireworks finale.
Chris Kirkpatrick, best known for his time with *NSYNC, is joined by other early 2000s stars like O-Town, known for “All or Nothing,” and LFO, whose hit “Summer Girls” topped charts in 1999. Ryan Cabrera rose to fame with “On the Way Down” in 2004.
