Two specimen from more than ten thousand years ago get a doctors appointment
Two ancient artifacts from the New York State Museum were scanned at Albany Medical Center to reveal unseen details from 70 million years ago. The artifacts included a 13,000-year-old giant beaver skull and a 70-million-year-old dinosaur egg. The scan of the beaver skull provided insights into the animal's teeth, nasal, and brain cavities, while the egg scan did not show any signs of a baby dinosaur inside.
