Did you file your taxes yet? Did you go "WHAT??" when you saw what your refund was going to be? Was it a good "WHAT" or a "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED WHAT"? I am guessing that more times than not it was not a good "WHAT". The IRS is says this year tax refunds are averaging 29% less than they were in 2023. The said that some filers may experience issues with what they call "bracket creep" , whatever that means. It's early in the filing season so the average could get better. I guess at the end of the day the real success is just not owing the state or the feds anything so if the numbers come out positive for you and your families, that's good. Happy filing!
