Honor and celebrate Memorial Day in Rensselaer at the City’s annual Memorial Day Parade on Sunday, May 24, 2026! Opening ceremonies begin at 1:00 PM, with the parade stepping off at 2:00 PM from the intersection of Washington Avenue and Forbes Avenue. The parade will travel along Broadway to Third Avenue, ending near the reviewing stand across from Hyck Square Park.

Hosted by the City of Rensselaer and the Gerald O’Neil Post, this longtime community tradition brings residents together to honor those who served with patriotic spirit, marching bands, local organizations, and family-friendly festivities.
